Jakarta, 2 September 2024 – To celebrate 34 years of being in service, PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk (Garudafood) has reaffirmed its commitment to inclusive education and community welfare. The company distributed donations for education and educational aid to hundreds of children in Jabodetabek, Sumedang, Pati, Gresik, and parts of Eastern Indonesia.
This effort aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4, which focuses on quality education, and Goal 10, which aims to reduce inequality. This initiative also demonstrates Garudafood's commitment to the social aspect of the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, focusing on community empowerment, reducing social inequality, and enhancing education and welfare.
The donation serves as a corporate responsibility and as a catalyst for Garudafood employees to care for others, strengthen connections, and strive for personal growth. Garudafood allocated over IDR 420 million for more than 630 students, ranging from primary school to high school, distributed across three donation categories.
- Outstanding Student Donation: Over 250 children of outstanding employees of Garudafood Group, ranging from primary school to high school. The donation aims to nurture the academic potential of Indonesia's youth, totaling IDR 162,300,000.
- Donation of Educational Aids: A total of IDR 168,616,000 was allocated to provide educational aids to 34 students with disabilities to facilitate their learning process.
- Scholarship Donation: Through the Foster Parent Program (POTA), 340 underprivileged students received scholarships funded by employee contributions and facilitated by the company, totaling IDR 95,700,000.

In addition to supporting inclusive education, Garudafood also supports the government’s vision of Golden Indonesia 2050, which aims to develop high-quality and competitive human resources capable of leading Indonesia toward a brighter future while fostering collaboration with all stakeholders.
The first semester of 2024 shows significant growth; Garudafood reported a significant profit of IDR 258 billion, marking a 20.12% increase compared to the same period last year. Furthermore, Fortune Indonesia selected Garudafood as one of the 100 companies with the most significant revenue in Indonesia based on its performance in 2023. This award serves as tangible proof that Garudafood continues to grow and evolve through dedication, innovation, and hard work for the last 34 years.
