Boyolali, 29 August 2024 – PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk (Garudafood) continues to build a partnership with over 3,500 local dairy farmers as of 2023. This collaboration allows Garudafood to source more than 15,500 tons of fresh milk, which serves as raw material for various quality products, such as CLEVO and Chocolatos Milk Chocolate.
As part of its 34th-anniversary celebration, Garudafood is recognizing and appreciating the local dairy farmers who have partnered with the company and contributed to the supply of high-quality raw materials needed for production.
The appreciation was given in the form of milk cans provided to ensure the quality and sterility of the milk, which was given directly by Johannes Setiadharma (Director of Garudafood) to the company's partner farmers in Boyolali, Central Java.

Johannes Setiadharma emphasized that the partnership, established in 2015, aims to secure a sustainable milk supply, maintain product safety and quality, and enhance the welfare of the farmers’ families.
"We hope this partnership will improve livelihoods, empower smallholder farmers, and develop livestock cooperatives across districts in Central Java and East Java, in line with our Creating Shared Value (CSV) concept," said Johannes.
He also said that to enhance the supply of local fresh milk, Garudafood ensures market availability and offers competitive prices to farmers.
During the event, Drajat Tri Wibowo, a dairy cow partner, highlighted that the Garudafood partnership program fosters mutual business support.
"Through this partnership, we have gained access to competitive prices, training on good practices for fresh milk farming and management, technical assistance, and facilities such as cooling tanks. In addition, we also receive sustainable cattle feed from Garudafood by-products," Drajat said. "Today, we are also given 'milk cans' to help maintain the safety, quality, and cleanliness of the milk," Drajat added.

In addition to this support, Garudafood offers counseling, technical assistance, and training in areas such as quality control, 5R Kaizen, and strategies for handling and mitigating Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) outbreaks.
Production facilities, including cooling systems, generators, and milk cans, are provided to enhance the safety, quality, and cleanliness of the raw materials. Furthermore, Garudafood facilitates the management of production waste into animal feed, offers interest-free loans, and connects partners with financial institutions to support their production development.
